AdCare Educational Institute of Maine, Inc. is seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Disaster Behavioral Health Coordinator in Augusta, ME. This full-time, salaried, position will work on our contract for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The position requires a strong public health/clinician/educator with a demonstrated interest in disaster behavioral health as well as public health and volunteer management. The work of the Disaster Behavioral Health Coordinator is driven by preparing the volunteer Disaster Behavioral Health Response Team and providing guidance, trainings and resources to behavioral health providers and response partners to provide disaster behavioral health support during and following a public health emergency, disaster or mass violence incident.
